Freely inspired by seventeenth-century engravings by Giuseppe Maria Mitelli who created fantastic etchings for board games. A tribute to the tradition of ancient crafts following one another in perfect harmony with a series of images, insects and animals inside tables depicting board games. The triangles and pieces of the table, in the colors of nature belonging to ancient civilizations, alternate with tobacconists and fabric merchants in The Apothecary, an attractive and mysterious figure, as full of symbolism as the origins of the game in the background.
The Morena foulard is produced in Italy in the silk district of excellence in Como. Made from 100% twill silk, a precious fabric that brings out the brilliance of the colors, the design features a hand rolled hem that respects the fascinating tradition of ancient tailors.
